The stay of foreign citizens in the territory of the Republic of Belarus, depending on the purpose of the visit, requires them to comply with a number of procedures provided for by the legislation of the Republic of Belarus. So, after crossing the border, a foreign citizen must come to the territorial department of citizenship and migration within 10 days to arrange a temporary stay (registration). Then, if a foreign citizen plans to stay in the Republic of Belarus longer than 90 days in a calendar year and has grounds for a longer stay, he/she must arrange temporary residence (up to 1 year) in the department of citizenship and migration of the district at the place of residence (for each basis it is necessary to provide a different package of documents).
